Teleskop is related to the concept of “far” and distant observation; we hereby observe the modern world, its obsessions, fears and hopes (“Bubble-Gun”, “The House Is Burning”, “Out Of The Blue”), we observe old and distant memories to weigh their meanings (“Souvenir”), we observe the night sky stars and the moon, regretting we have never lived - till now, at least - a great adventure like the moon landing (“Moon Landing”). In such a way the album has been remotely composed in the isolation of our house-studio deep in the Tuscan countryside, which has been an observatory, where we collected all the information gained from our observation process and put them into music.
The Telescope (Teleskop in german) is the object that represents par excellence adventure and discovery, telescopes have been used to discover overseas lands, as well as to observe galaxies and stars. And if the sea has been the main inspirational theme for “Riva” (our debut album released in 2017) and for Aquarama identity in general, we are now moving away from the sea to discover new worlds, fresh sounds and different themes for our music.
Aquarama is Dario Bracaloni, Guglielmo Torelli and a family of wonderful people gravitating around them.
