The new album of K-Conjog “Fermati, O Sole!” comes out April 18th on the Record Store Day 2015.
The title of the work resumes the name of the video-animation by Valerio Berruti (ranked among the finalists for the "Premio Cairo" in 2014) and those tracks were specifically designed by the composer Fabrizio Somma (known by the pseudonym K-Conjog).
The video, visible at this link vimeo.com/115072140
, highlights the essential stroke of the artist by sequencing 190 drawings of children "protagonists of a time when anything can happen," as Berruti describes them.
The soundtrack "I only dream to run with you" emphasizes the activities of those small "entities" intent to move a carousel with an outlook to the viewer. The song, able to transform sound into movement and movement into sound, is based around a stubborn arpeggio piano, perhaps a reference to some of the first music lessons or the chimes of early childhood.
The collaboration between the two artists and their shared passion for music at 33" led them to make a vinyl / artwork that satisfies the needs of music and contemporary art lovers, making a beautiful and collectable object: a precious white vinyl.
The vinyl contains three new songs (I Only Dream to Run with You, Good Intention and It's All Around You, Asia) and 2 already published presented in a remastered version (Mono No Aware - Abandon Building Records, USA 2012 - and Chapter II - Dirty Demos - UK 2010).
“Fermati, O Sole!” is the first collaboration between three italian record labels: Fresh Yo! from Florence, Bad Panda from Rome and Trovarobato from Bologna.
